Welcome to Pattaya - the adult playground of Thailand, on the sea. Pattaya is well-known for its nightlife. In fact, many shops don’t open until 10 or 11 am because the shops are open so late at night. Our tour bus dropped us off around 8:30 am and it was evident that many people were still sleeping at that time. However, it provided us some tranquil time on the beach.
After enjoying gazing out into the Gulf of Thailand, we decided to walk along the streets of Pattaya as the city began to awaken.
There was no shortage of massage parlors tattoo parlors, and nightclubs!
There were some neat souvenir and clothing shops too. I must say, we found the best shopping deals in Thailand! Like Vietnam, Thailand had an interesting variety of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Finally, a visit to a new city wouldn't be complete without making a new feline friend. :)
Although we were only in Pattaya for a short time, this is a place I definitely wouldn't mind visiting again to check out the nightlife.
